Bob Hoy was a special guest at the 3-D Film Expo II, held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, for the showings of Wings of the Hawk on September 7 2006 and Taza, Son of Cochise on September 8, 2006. Neither of these films had been seen in 3-D in over 50 years.

Bob Hoy is part of panel discussion at the Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences kicked off its "Great To Be Nominated, Part Three," series with 1958 Best Picture nominee "The Defiant Ones" on April 10, 2006. Pictured here at the panel discussion following the screening are (left to right) stuntman Bob Hoy; Tony Curtis, nominated for his leading role as John "Joker" Jackson; Karen Kramer, widow of director/producer Stanley Kramer; Theodore Bikel, nominated for his supporting role as Sheriff Max Muller; and Elizabeth MacRae, widow of Oscar-winning screenwriter Nedrick Young.
